When is it safe to start Pregnancy Yoga?

It’s recommended once you’ve passed your first trimester after 13 weeks right up to your due time and beyond!  

Am I too late to start in my last trimester?

Not at all your never too late, we would have some Mom’s depending on their time commitments starting in their last few weeks!  

What should I wear to Pregnancy Yoga/Mom and baby Yoga?

Wear something that you feel comfy in, stretch, move and relax in with ease.  

I’ve never done Pregnancy Yoga/Mom and baby Yoga before is that ok?

Yes absolutely perfect both are very gentle and a lovely introduction to the wonders of Yoga!  

What should I bring with me?

  • Pregnancy Yoga/Mini/ Full Day Retreat Yoga mat, cushion and blanket
  • Mom and baby Yoga yoga mat cushion and big blanket for you both!
  • Birth Prep Workshop Yoga mat and gym ball
  • Baby Reflexology yoga mat, cushion and babies toy optional

What is your Covid Care and safety?

Before arriving at each class it is advised YOU DO NOT COME and please CANCEL your class/course/event/postnatal massage if you:

  • feel generally unwell
  • high temperature (over 37.5)
  • unexplained cough or shortness of breath
  • sudden loss of taste or smell

Where do I park?

There’s plenty of free parking all around both centres. ARD Family Resource Centre has a yummie coffee shop in the same building which is an added bonus for our Moms n babes called The Neighbourhood Cafe! (https://www.facebook.com/theneighbourhoodcafe/)  

Can I borrow a mat?

Yes I’d have a few spare however it’s advised to have your own.  

Can I eat before class?

Ideally it’s preferable not to eat before class. You could try something light like a banana, nut mix, cereal bar.  

Do I need a gym ball?

Yes at some point as we do a few fabulous Bump n Ball class every 2 months. It’s an amazing tool during your pregnancy, labour, birth and into mother hood with baby.  

I missed a pregnancy Yoga class can I make it up?

Yes you can make it back in any of the classes as long as its, before the next block starts or online. We can’t carry classes over into other blocks or classes.

Can I try a class first to see if I like it?

Yes your welcome to try a class as a drop in rate . 

I didn’t receive my zoom link?

Please check your spam, trash or junk folders.

When should I arrive to class?

If possible arrive 10 minutes before class is due to start to allow time to settle and relax.

When should I arrive into zoom classes?

If possible at least 5 minutes before class is due to start to allow  time for settling and any audio, tech issues is much appreciated.  

I’m interested in your mini and full day retreats do you need any experience in Yoga or sound bath?

Not at all most of the pregnant Mom’s or/and Mom’s and babes would never have done Yoga or sound bath before! It’s great opportunity to try a new experience which is so beneficial, relaxing and fun! 

How can I sign my child up for Little Peeps Yoga or family yoga?

Thank you for your interest Little Peeps Yoga I run through Creches and Pre Schools independently contact us to discuss further.  

Family Yoga I also run independently through an invite to Parent and Toddler Groups or as part of a festival/event.
