Our story started in the early 90’s while I was training as a nurse I always had a fascination for holistic health care too. With encouragement from my Mom alongside nursing I trained as a Reflexologist which I loved and practiced on many of my nursing friends and families.
In our spare time we were lucky enough to have onsite Yoga! For this class one of the requirements along with a mat was a sleeping bag for the relaxation at the end! It was so relaxing most of us would either fall asleep or be between the 2 worlds of sleep and awake! I was hooked!!
I rekindled my love for Yoga in 2002 here in Ireland and tried many different styles and teachers which led to a teacher training in the Sivananda tradition in the Bahamas. From this point I didn’t look back teaching Yoga and offering reflexology and massage treatments full time.
I was inspired to support pregnant and postnatal women and completed a diploma with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli in the U.K. Shortly after this I trained in Chang Mai Thailand level 2 Thai massage which blends Yoga and massage together a perfect combination!
2008 I completed a Kundalini Pregnancy Yoga Certificate in Ballinrobe County Mayo. 2009 I had the greatest honour of becoming a Mom to my fabulous and dynamic son Rhys.
2011 I completed a Marie Mongan hypnobirthing course in Dublin to support the Pregnancy Yoga and Birth Prep Workshops.
2012 I gave birth to my beautiful daugther Gioia at home highly recommend a homebirth! 2013 I trained as a Rainbow Kids Yoga teacher in Dublin which was the most amazing, loving and fun course the base of our Little Peeps and Family Yoga. 2016 I attended a refresher Birth Prep Workshop with Wendy Teasill in Lahinch Yoga Studio.
2019 I qualified as a Bone Closer with Sophie Messager in the U.K now offering Closing the Bones (link to CTB section) ceremonies a South American tradition to honour and hold women at transitional points in their life’s with massage and rebozo wraps in their own homes.
2020 I attended a Baby and Toddler Reflexology teacher training with Baby Reflex in Dublin. Now we’re running independent courses instudio and online for Parents, Carers and Parent and Toddler Groups.
Most recently training with Nadia Raafat updating and upskilling with my 2nd Yoga and Mindfulness for Pregnancy and Birth Teacher training. Very excited to see how this training blends with our classes especially introducing mindfulness!
Over the years I am very grateful to all my teachers, colleagues, friends, family and students who are a constant inspiration to me, you shape and mould the classes, workshops, retreats and treatments to what they are today! I’m blessed to have you in my life.
